Will You Be My Bridesmaid Valentine’s Cards
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I decided to whip up a quick and simple DIY for the holiday! You can easily make these Valentine’s cards for your bridesmaids in under 10 minutes. Bring back the joy of school days with these Valentine’s cards featuring kitschy plastic rhinestone rings from Oriental Trading!
Supplies:
Rhinestone Rings
Washi Tape
Pink Cardstock Assortment
Hole Punch
Paper Cutter
First you will need to create a Valentine’s card. Then simply print out the design onto your pink cardstock. Cut out the cards using a paper cutter so you have perfectly straight sides.
Place your hole punch right below the “m” in gem and punch two holes. One right below the other in a straight line.
Next take a rhinestone ring and carefully punch it through the two holes.
Use a piece of washi tape to secure your rhinestone ring on the backside of your card.
That’s it! Maybe the easiest Will You Be My Bridesmaids cards ever!

Valentine’s Wedding Styled Shoot
Happy Valentine’s Day! I just had to pop in on this Sunday to share this lovely Valentine’s wedding inspired shoot with you. I created this Valentine’s wedding styled shoot as a party for The Charleston Blog Society. I just love Valentine’s Day and all of the girly colors and details this holiday entails. I wanted to create a Valentine’s party that was fun, girly, and most of all something the bloggers hadn’t seen before. There’s nothing like creating a beautiful room for a styled shoot and then getting to enjoy all of the decor after! If you’re looking for more Valentine’s inspiration make sure to see our DIY conversation heart makeup bags here!
The Gadsden House provided the ideal backdrop for this Valentine’s wedding inspiration. With it’s French blue walls and gold accents, it is one of the most elegant spaces in Charleston. The Silver Starfish made all of my heart shaped dreams come true with a paper suite that was to die for! With watercolor pink and orange swirls, heart shaped paper and modern calligraphy, the stationery suite they created would be perfect for a wedding or bridal brunch.
A rustic farm table and gold flatware from EventHaus were the perfect compliment to the space. I decorated the table with ombre roses and a DIY XOXO table runner I created using white paint and kraft paper. By keeping the florals simple and sticking to just roses the other decor elements could really shine. Swank Desserts, One Hope Wine and, The Cocktail Bandits provided red and pink snacks and sips for the bloggers to enjoy. Five Minute Valentine’s Party Poppers
This year celebrate Valentine’s Day with a pop! Today’s DIY is so simple you can literally make it in 5 minutes. I swear. These party poppers are so cute and would be the perfect party favors for a galantines day dinner or a fun surprise for your sweetie. Read on below to learn how to make these five minute party poppers!
To make these five minute party poppers you will need:
Colored Paper –
Toilet Paper Rolls – For one popper you need two rolls so plan accordingly.
Tissue Paper
Bakers Twine
Tape
Scissors
Confetti, chocolate and any fun goody items you want to add!
Begin by taping two rolls of toilet paper together, end to end. You want the seal to be tight enough that the rolls will hold but not too tight so that you can still rip them apart later.
Next take a piece of paper and wrap it around the taped rolls. Leave extra paper on the ends so that you can tie them off later on. Secure the paper with tape. Before you secure the ends of your party popper you will need to fill the inside. Fill your party popper with fun surprise items you know your intended will love. Confetti, chocolate and mini heart balloons are all great choices for Valentine’s Day!
Finish your party popper by tying off the ends with bakers twine and adding a mini gift tag.
Give these poppers to your friends or tuck a sweet note inside for your loved one. Watch their surprise as they pull these poppers apart, they will not only appreciate the sweet gift but the personal touch it took to make it!

Something Short And Sweet About Love Take Two
Last year I came up with the idea of asking some wedding professionals and brides for their words of wisdom on love. Since the post was so popular I have decided to make it an annual tradition! Read on to hear some of your favorite wedding pro’s sweet remarks on love and don’t forget to read last years post here!
“Love is more than just a word. It’s a part of everything you do, how you treat each other, the little things you do throughout the day, and the time you spend together. It’s the glue that keeps you together during the tough times, and the sugar on top during the good times.” Kathleen & Joe Atkins, JoPhotos
“Love is sticking by your partner’s side not only in the great times, but the rough ones too.” Alexandra Caldwell Fisher, A Caldwell Events
“You don’t have to compromise for true love. The real thing gives you more than you even knew you wanted. It is truly a gift that keeps on giving – one that you should be celebrated…fiercely and often!” LaBruce Trammell, The Big Fake Wedding
“The perfect lover knows the difference between the nights when you need to get dressed up, taken out and told you’re beautiful a million times and when you just need a no-makeup Netflix + cuddle marathon with a side of junk food.” Arielle Stratton, Party Love Birds

Valentine’s Bridal Shower Gift Box
Valentine’s Day is almost here and in preparation for the holiday I have teamed up with Wedding Paper Divas to create a cute bridal shower gift box. Instead of sending your bridesmaids a regular invite send them a gift box chock full of fun and thoughtful items, sure to get them excited for your bridal shower! Presentation is key when it comes to creating a pretty (and impressive) gift. Before buying items it helps to come up with a color scheme or theme. Since it’s the month of love, I chose Valentine’s Day and stuck to fun candies and gifts that were red, white and pink. (It doesn’t hurt that I also love all of these colors!)
Box Supplies: Gift Items:
Wedding Paper Divas Bridal Shower Invitations Heart Sunnies
White Gift Box with Lid Barr Co Honeysuckle Soap
Crinkle Cut Paper Rosebud Lip Balm
Ribbon – Raw Silk + Light Pink Glass Cork Containers
Wedding Paper Divas Coasters Mini Heart Balloons
I can’t event describe how many times I’ve received a gift and been so enamored with the wrapping that I didn’t want to open it. Keep this in mind when creating your gift box. Instead of throwing in a bag of candy place treats in cute glass cork containers for a clean presentation.
Personalize your box by tying off items with lots of colorful ribbon and using customized gift tags.
With a gift this sweet and thoughtful everyone will be clamoring to attend your party!
