If you are looking for spring wedding inspiration then look no further than this Atlanta, Georgia wedding from Taylor Dawn and Rustic White Photography. The bride and groom envisioned a glamorous garden wedding where their out of town guests could celebrate. Summerour Studio was given a warm glow by hundreds of candles and fairy lights strung around the room. With fresh greenery, delicate white florals, and bridesmaids in sky blue dresses. How did you meet? Kevin and I met at a happy hour at work. While we never directly worked together, we continued to see each other occasionally at work and around town. He finally asked me out and we dated for a few months before realizing it was the real thing and letting everyone at work know. They were all very excited for us!What is your proposal story? Kevin and I took a trip for a romantic getaway in Asheville, NC to ring in the 2017 new year. We had a lovely weekend exploring a new city and spending time together. Shortly after midnight, at the hotel bar, Kevin looked at me and said ‘We don’t know anyone here’. I said, ‘Yes of course! We are out of town and taking a solo trip’. When we got back up to our hotel room, there was champagne waiting and Kevin got down on one knee and said a lot of sweet words that I barely remember because I was just so elated and felt like I was floating on cloud nine. What was the most important to the two of you while planning? The most important thing to us was that we were going to be married at the end of the day. We also wanted all of our guests who came to celebrate us from near and far to have the best day too. We splurged on a premium bar and skipped the full band and used a great DJ instead. What were your favorite parts of the day? So many favorite parts to choose from! During our ceremony, the pastor had us turn around to take in the crowd of people who had come to see us get married. I remember seeing people from all different aspects of mine and Kevin’s lives and was overwhelmed with such a feeling of gratitude and appreciation that we have such great family and friends. I also vividly remember taking photos in the Summerour courtyard after our private moment. It had just rained, which I initially thought was such bad luck on your wedding day, but the weather had brought the nicest breeze and temperature to the hot summer day. We got to capture golden hour in the beautiful Summerour courtyard on a high having just been married and slightly buzzed on the glasses of champagne we had during cocktail hour. Lastly, we had such a great crowd on the dance floor. I remember dancing to our last song not wanting the night to be over. I was ready to do it all over again! We reminisced and relived the whole day over and over again for weeks.Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now? Try your best to relax and enjoy the planning process. I know it is hard, but it is so worth it. Married life is the best!
