I absolutely love having friends over to my house. Whether it’s last minute drinks or dinner in my backyard, my house is the place where I like to gather those I hold near and dear. One of my favorite things to do after a long day is to open a bottle of AVA Grace and invite a few of my neighbors over. With Spring right around the corner now is the best time to host impromptu get togethers to enjoy the warmer weather! Today I am sharing my tips for hosting a mid-week get together with AVA Grace Vineyards. Mid-week get togethers are meant to be casual and fun. You want to avoid putting any extra pressure on yourself as the host – this is meant to be a relaxing night! I like to keep a few bottles of my favorite AVA Grace Vineyards varietals on hand. Their Chardonnay and Rosé happen to be my two favorites. The Chardonnay has a bright peach flavor, while their Rosé is delicate and fruity, making these excellent choices for warmer weather. Keeping wine stocked in your fridge means you can host whenever you like, no need to dash out to the store! If I’m hosting a casual mid-week hang out then I usually prepare small bites like a cheese board. I created this cheese board using snacks I already had in the house. There’s no need to go “all out” for a casual get together. Crackers, cheese, dried fruit, nuts, all pair well with wine.I just love getting together with friends for impromptu wine nights and with AVA Grace there is no reason to delay your happy hour to the weekend. Breaking up a long work week with a casual night enjoying friends over great wine is just the thing we all need!
