Supplies You Will Need:
Kate Aspen Bottle Openers
Vinyl or Sticker Letters
Transfer Tape (not necessary if you choose to use sticker letters)
Cricut Machine
Custom Bottle OpenersThese DIY bottle openers are incredibly easy to make yet look really high end. To create your bottle openers first type up your monograms (or fun sayings) in Cricut Design Space. I used the block lettering Cricut Sans for the monograms and Babette for the fun sayings. Create duplicates of every monogram. If you don’t have a Cricut you can instead purchase sticker letters. It just won’t give you the ability to change the size or colors of your monogram. Once you have typed up all of your monograms have your Cricut cut them out on vinyl. Weed the negative space from each letter.DIY Monogram Bottle OpenersTo apply the monogram letters you will work from the bottom up. Place a piece of transfer tape on the bottom or “shadow” layer of your monogram. Place this layer a little to the left of the center on your bottle opener.DIY Monogram Bottle OpenersPlace a piece of transfer tape on the second “top” layer of your monogram. Carefully line up the bottom edges of your letters and apply this layer on top of the first making sure to center it in the middle of your bottle opener.Custom Bottle OpenersYour DIY bottle openers are now finished and ready for gifting! Kate Aspen offers a variety of fun gift bags and boxes that would be perfect for these custom bottle openers. I especially love these bags for a bachelorette party that you could fill with lots of little goodies!DIY Monogram Bottle Openers

DIY Succulent Wedding Favors With Kate Aspen

July 18, 2018

Love is in bloom with these DIY succulent wedding favors! There’s nothing like a wedding favor that your guests can enjoy after your wedding day and these mini succulents are too cute to resist. But handing your guests a succulent to go isn’t very practical without giving them a box to travel with. Luckily, Kate Aspen happens to have some of the cutest favor box options around for weddings. I am obsessed with these mermaid tail boxes and how cute are these cake slice favor boxes? I chose to use their Butterfly Floral Boxes for these succulent wedding favors as they make the perfect addition to spring and summer weddings. The floral pattern is beautiful and the boxes are the perfect size for mini succulents. Imagine how excited your wedding guests will be to open up these favors to find tiny succulents inside! Read on below to learn how to create these succulent wedding favors.DIY Succulent Wedding FavorsThings You Will Need:

First you will need to place four glue dots around the sides of your planter. Make sure to place them equally around as if your round planter has four corners.DIY Succulent Wedding Favors Next place your succulent on top of a square of felt so that each corner of the felt matches up with a glue dot. Bring the left and right sides of the felt up and stick to the glue dots.DIY Succulent Wedding FavorsNext you will attach the top and bottom pieces of felt. Hold one corner in your hand and carefully fold the two sides in. Attach this to your planter using more glue dots if needed.DIY Succulent Wedding Favors Use a piece of twine to tie a bow around your succulent and attach a favor tag. We created tags with the saying “love in bloom” for our succulent wedding favors.DIY Succulent Wedding Favors Finish off your succulent wedding favors by placing them inside the Butterfly Favor Boxes from Kate Aspen. Succulents can be a messy favor as they can easily tip over and get soil everywhere. These favor boxes make it easy for your guests to grab their favor while keeping your wedding free of mess!
