Bride Caitlin had always dreamt of getting married at the historic Charleston venue the William Aiken House. And it just so happened that when her wedding day rolled around it was also the Saturday of July 4th. Rather than overwhelm their guests with a patriotic affair A. Caldwell Events planned an elegant blush wedding including hidden details that paid homage to the star spangled holiday. The groomsmen wore fun miss matched socks of stars and stripes while mini American flags were a fun addition to photographs.

My favorite holiday has to be the 4th of July. There’s just something about the promise of fireworks and a day full of picnics, friends and sunny weather. Everything about the 4th has a warm and homemade vibe, a perfect element to add into your wedding day! From mini apple pies to picnic baskets for your guests and alfresco dining in a field of flowers. The inspiration I’ve collected below will have you dreaming of a wedding under a starry sky with fireworks exploding above.Jade + Matthew Take Pictures via Martha Stewart Weddings // Rebecca Hollis Photography via Style Me PrettyMi Amore Foto via RuffledAnneli Marinovich Photography via B.Loved WeddingsKT Merry via Southern WeddingsKatie Stoops Photography via Southern Weddings // Eric Kelley Photography via Southern WeddingsRyan Ray Photography via Southern WeddingsLauren Kinsey Photography via Southern Weddings
