The 4th of July is my absolute favorite holiday as it is the perfect combination of all of my favorite things. The beach, picnics, barbecues, summer and fireworks. Growing up in Washington D.C. my Dad would always be busy photographing the fireworks on the National Mall. So my mom would pack a picnic for my sister and I and we would watch the fireworks from the Mall. (It’s hard to beat those!) Now that I live at the beach I watch front row on the sand as they launch fireworks from our local pier. As the 4th of July is my favorite I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make a fun DIY! These 4th of July DIY wedding sparkler tags are perfect for a summer wedding. Using your Cricut you can make this DIY in a few simple steps and use for your wedding reception exit. Read on below to learn how to make these July 4th DIY wedding sparkler tags.

For these wedding sparkler tags you will need two different colored pieces of cardstock as well as white cardstock. I chose cardstock in blue and red patterns for July 4th. If you’re not having a holiday wedding you could choose your wedding colors instead. Open our file in Design Space by clicking here. I have already formatted the design to open as a print then cut. Use your Canon Pixma MG3620 to print and then use your Cricut to cut out the first layer onto your white cardstock. Then load your patterned cardstock into your Cricut and cut the second layer. Once your Cricut is finished cutting these layers remove from your grip mat.Use a glue stick to attach the white cardstock layer to your patterned layer.Thread your sparkler through the tags and your DIY wedding sparkler tags are complete!Use these sparkler tags for your wedding reception and watch the sparks fly!
