The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has kicked off (read more here) and it’s a great time to get deals on brand new Fall styles. To help you get the most out of the sale I thought I would curate three outfits perfect for Fall engagement shoots that are all on super sale! These three looks have something for everyone and you can easily mix and match – and save up to $300!
This first look is my favorite dress from the sale. This swingy floral frock it would look perfect with flats or booties. And this clutch would carry everything you need – plus at this price could also be a great bridesmaids gift! For those looking for a more casual look this next outfit is perfect. You can never go wrong with a pair of jeans and at this price it’s a great time to stock up. I love this casual top which would easily work with a pair of mules or pastel flats. For $30 this next dress is a must have! This pastel color would look great on everyone. Add some earrings and booties to dress it up and you’ve got the perfect look!

I could not have picked a better styled shoot to launch the new year than this greenery inspired beauty from SMM Photography and Magnificent Moments Weddings. Pantone recently named greenery the color of the year for 2017 and this shoot at The Ivy Place outside Charlotte, NC is dripping in inspiration. From the earthy toned wedding cake by Sweet Scene to the copper and green tablescape featuring watercolor details. Every little detail is meant to inspire and is the perfect wedding inspiration for the first Monday of the year!

Rather than starting the New Year making resolutions and chiding myself for not sticking to goals of New Years past, I like to spend NYE reflecting on what I am grateful of and how I hope to grow in the coming year. I would love for you to share in the comments what you are thankful for and what you are looking forward to in 2017. Personally I am so proud of the growth this blog has seen, as well as the growth Aisle Society and the Charleston Blog Society have enjoyed. I am so thankful that I was able to travel to Jamaica, the Bahamas, and Maine on various press trips and that I got to know so many bloggers over those trips. I am beyond thankful that I was able to find and buy a house this past year and am excited to continue making it a home in the New Year. But above all, I am most thankful for you dear readers. For without you, this blog would not be possible and it is my greatest joy to press publish here everyday.
So tell me in the comments, what are you thankful for?
The perfect sparkly NYE dress!

Engagement photos are some of our favorite images. You are more likely to hang engagement photos on your walls for the entirety of your marriage while you may get tired of looking at your wedding photos. Engagement photos capture the real you at a moment in time when life is so exciting. Such is the case with these adorable portraits below. Newly based Charleston photographer Emily Ann Hughes Photography perfectly captured this gorgeous couple and we love the furry accessory they brought along!
