What do you get when you combine sequin dresses and gold oysters? One chic beach wedding! Annie and Ryan wanted to embrace the laid back feeling of the south on their wedding day and Amanda Rose Weddings did just that. With gold oyster shell place cards and cocktails served out of mason jars, this Hilton Head wedding was the perfect relaxed oceanside affair. The Happy Bloom captured this couples day to perfection, even sneaking in some beach portraits after the ceremony. There’s something so gorgeous about sequin bridesmaids dresses on the beach, wouldn’t you agree?

Happy New Year! What better way is there to kick off 2018 than with a sweet engagement. Carly Jade Photography captured this couples engagement session down at the waterfront in Charleston, SC. Charleston is special to this couple as they spent many weekends on date nights in the city and even got engaged down at waterfront park! This session was submitted to us via Matchology which is quickly becoming our favorite way to receive submissions!
With Christmas only a week away it feels like the perfect time to share these holiday themed portraits. Lindsay Connors Photography captured these festive photos at a local Christmas tree farm. We absolutely adore these sweet photos and think they are proof that all you need to create holiday magic is a winter beanie, evergreens and your sweetie to cozy up to!
When you choose a location to get married one of the most important styling tips you can follow is to let the venue dictate the style. These driftwood bridal portraits from Carrie Joy Photography are a perfect example of that rule. Detailed I Do’s planned a relaxed coastal styled shoot along the coast of Jekyll Island. The existing driftwood served as the anchor for Victory Blooms floral installation. Shells, sea glass, and Spanish Moss pull in the elements of the region while pink roses and succulents add a pop of color. Click Here for more driftwood wedding inspiration.

A song for your weekend.
The lowcountry is such a wonderful destination for winter weddings. When the weather gets cooler the humidity and bugs vanish making outdoor weddings that much more enjoyable. A Charleston Bride planned an elegant jewel toned reception for Maria and Sean’s wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation. Farm tables were dressed in greenery with bright pops of purple while peaceful river views served as an idyllic backdrop for both the ceremony and reception.
Lacher’s Lens Photography worked with a team of vendors to bring this simple and organic wedding inspiration to life. Pulling inspiration from the natural surroundings at 5Eleven in Pensacola, The I Do List created an intimate wedding tablescape. Marble menus adorn a farm table draped with a light blush runner while organic, loose florals by Flowers by Milk & Honey top off the look.

Surrounded by giant oak trees and dripping Spanish moss on every side, it’s no wonder Jess and Zach chose the historic Oldfield Club in Okatie, South Carolina for their nuptials. Design Studio South crafted their wedding around a neutral color palette which let the historic venue shine. Bridesmaids were dressed in floor-length taupe dresses while rustic farm tables were lined in fresh greenery and white menus. We’re absolutely smitten with the warm photos The Happy Bloom captured especially those of the couple aglow in golden sunlight.

Morgan and Tyler chose the coastal town of Wilmington for their engagement and it’s no wonder. With it’s charming ivy walls and secret brick pathways, Danielle Hutchinson Photography had no trouble finding great locations. The couple got engaged at Wrightsville Beach so this location holds special meaning and made the photos that much more magical!
