Believe it or not the Holidays are right around the corner and it’s time to start shopping for gifts! I absolutely love shopping for people and scoping out the perfect gift. And what better gift to give newlyweds than a local gem from the city they were married in! Charleston has some lovely local brands and I have rounded up the ultimate list below to make your shopping a bit easier. This pillow from my friends shop and this print are two I’m thinking of gifting this year! Simply click on each image to go directly to the product.

July 4th Charleston Wedding // Caitlin + Tyler
Bride Caitlin had always dreamt of getting married at the historic Charleston venue the William Aiken House. And it just so happened that when her wedding day rolled around it was also the Saturday of July 4th. Rather than overwhelm their guests with a patriotic affair A. Caldwell Events planned an elegant blush wedding including hidden details that paid homage to the star spangled holiday. The groomsmen wore fun miss matched socks of stars and stripes while mini American flags were a fun addition to photographs.

A Grimm Fairytale Wedding // Maria + Ryan
As last names go, I don’t think it gets cooler than having the last name Grimm. The Grimm brothers were the masters behind the classics Cinderella and Snow White, so it is only fitting that a couple with the surname Grimm would have a wedding fit for a fairytale. Sage Innovations planned a rustic tented affair under the oaks at Legare Waring House in Charleston. The reception featured long farm tables lined with arrangements of hydrangeas and white roses in vintage wooden boxes. A quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson lined each place setting and the newlyweds famous last name took center stage in a glowing marquee light over the dance floor.
