Run away to the coast with today’s bridal portraits. J. Leigh Captures photographed these bridal portraits on the beaches of Hilton Head Island, SC and they have us wishing today was still the weekend! Colonial House of Flowers created a stunning bouquet of maroon, blush, and green to compliment the natural surroundings and the brides turquoise gown.
This powder blue wedding inspiration has a special bent to it as many of the details were chosen for their carbon footprint. Captured in Manasota Key, FL Emily Bivens Creative designed a wedding that was both fashionable and eco-friendly. Stationery was printed on fair trade paper while the bride wore an eco-conscious ethical wedding gown from Celia Grace. Even the florals were given a longer life as they were donated to a veterans home after the shoot.

This past Fall, Aisle Society bloggers descended on NYC Bridal Week to create the Aisle Society Experience presented by Minted. The party featured different wedding vignettes designed to inspire and wow guests. While I was unable to attend the event this year I am excited to share the beach chic vignette that Aisle Society bloggers created. Read on below to learn how a barefoot bride and groom brought laid back beach style to the streets of NYC!Inspired by organic shapes and a color palette of slate blue, lime green, and white, Pink Bowtie Events created this modern beach chic wedding ceremony inspiration. Lush tropical greenery and palm trees complimented modern watercolor stationery from Minted. Every detail from the rich leather stools to the brides organic tropical bouquet celebrated the experience that Sandals can offer for contemporary wedding ceremonies on the beautiful islands of the Caribbean.

After the turbulent week the East Coast has had, weathering Hurricane Matthew and evacuations up and down the coast, it seems only deserving that we should get to relax and look at something pretty. Well today’s shoot is just the answer. Judy Nunez Photography captured these styled bridal portraits in Charleston’s backyard of Folly Beach. Featuring an organic rose quartz headpiece by Emma Katzka that looks plucked straight from the ocean. We’re absolutely loving this breezy, relaxed bridal style captured on the coast.

There is something so sweet and simple about an elopement. Stripping away the commotion of a big wedding day and sneaking away with your sweetheart to say “I do” is pretty much as romantic as it gets! Today’s elopement from John Newsome Photography at Torrey Pines in San Diego offered a breathtaking backdrop that also allowed the beautifully simple details to show through. I love the elegant details like the handmade oyster shell book to hold the handwritten vows by Paperweight and the lush bouquet by L&S Design Co., which further completes the coastal look.
Happy Weekend! The Spoleto festival is in full swing here in Charleston and I’m looking forward to a weekend full of events! Every year the festival descends on Charleston for two weeks and infuses the city with cultural events. Earlier this week my friend and I enjoyed a night out at 167 Raw and caught a Japanese Opera. How many times can you say that? Hope you have fun plans! Natalie Watson Photography & Company via Bajan Wed
