I hope everyone had a relaxing and carefree Thanksgiving with their loved ones! I am super excited to announce that I am heading up to Asheville, North Carolina tomorrow for a press trip with my blogging friend Sarah of Classic Bride. We will be staying at The Grand Bohemian and Grove Park Inn while we explore the destination wedding scene of Asheville.
When you plan a destination wedding you often have to take many trips to the town in order to view and select details for your wedding. For some people (at least for me) packing is a bit of a pain! Luckily I have partnered with a few of my favorite brands for this trip to help show you how easy and simple it is to pack for a few days or weekend away!
First, you will need a great bag. This sailcloth duffle from J.McLaughlin is the perfect size to tote everything you need. And the best part is you can have it monogrammed with your new initials! Next you should pack a few tshirts, dresses and pants. I like to pack a simple cotton dress that doesn’t wrinkle. Choosing one that will go from day to night is also a good idea! It is always a good idea to pack a little bit of jewelry, but keep things simple. These studs and ring from Margaret Elizabeth go with everything and can easily be dressed up or down. The Ropes Maine is also a favorite of mine for jewelry. Made from authentic rope, dock line and hardware, you can be sure these stylish bracelets will keep up with anything! Asheville is in the mountains and a bit cooler than Charleston. A good pair of walking shoes, boots, and socks are all you really need. Leave the heels at home! Make sure you follow along with our trip on Instagram this week over at Coastal Bride and Classic Bride!
