DIY Marble Hexagon Coasters

March 19, 2018

Recently while shopping I came across a set of marble coasters. It was a set of four for around $24. Being the cheapie that I am I didn’t buy them but it reminded me that I had some marble tiles left over from making these DIY marble place cards and I decided to try my hand at making some marble coasters myself. And you know what? It could not be easier and to make these hexagon marble coasters! All you need are some marble tiles and gold vinyl. These marble coasters are a chinch to make and are a perfect wedding favor or housewarming gift. Read on below to learn how to make these DIY hexagon marble coasters. If you liked these marble coasters make sure to check out our DIY marble place cards – here!DIY Marble Coasters

Supplies: Marble Tiles | Gold Vinyl | Felt Furniture Rounds | Transfer Tape | Cutting Mat | Cricut MachineDIY Hexagon Marble And Gold Coasters First remove your marble tiles from the mesh backing and wipe each tile with a damp cloth. The tiles will have a bit of dust on them and if left will create bubbles under the vinyl. Next, using sandpaper gently sand the edges of your tiles to remove any residue glue.DIY Marble CoastersNext use your Cricut Machine to cut out our design space file onto gold vinyl. Super cute idea! Do you have any ideas for those of us that don’t have a Cricut machine? Are there cut outs we could use?

Hi Rebekah! Thank you. I would recommend buying these (click here) if you don’t have a Cricut. They are made out of vinyl and appear to be the correct size.
